Stuart Tonkin has over 15 years’ experience in the domestic and international underground hardrock mining industry. First joining the Barminco team in 2001, Stuart has since held a number of management roles including Operations Manager and General Manager of West Australian and International operations.
Stuart’s experience outside of Barminco includes operational contracting experience with Eltin Ltd in Western Australia and the Northern Territory as well as technical mine planning, design and production roles in Western Australia with Newmont Australia Ltd and Oxiana Ltd.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in mining and a Western Australian First Class Mine Managers certificate of competency.
