Barminco was established in 1989 by founder and current co-owner Peter Bartlett.
From its humble beginnings in Coolgardie, Western Australia where the company won its first underground development mining contract, Barminco has grown to be a respected specialist in underground mining, providing all facets of underground mining services internationally.
Peter Bartlett retains a significant investment in the company and is an integral member of the board contributing a wealth of expertise.
- 1995 - Won our first total underground mine services contract
- 2007 - Gresham Private Equity Group bought a majority stake from Peter Bartlett, enabling further investment in business growth and
- 2008 - Formed African Underground Mining Services Ltd (AUMS) and centralised all support and administration operations in the purpose designed Perth, Hazelmere facility
- 2009 - Commenced operations in Egypt at the Sukari Gold Mine.
