History of Barminco, the Mining Specialists.

Barminco was established in 1989 by founder and current co-owner Peter Bartlett.

From its humble beginnings in Coolgardie, Western Australia where the company won its first underground development mining contract, Barminco has grown to be a respected specialist in underground mining, providing all facets of underground mining services internationally.

Key milestones:

• 1995 - Won our first total underground mine services contract
• 2007 - Gresham Private Equity Group bought a majority stake from Peter Bartlett, enabling further investment in business growth and
  service offerings
• 2008 - Formed African Underground Mining Services Ltd (AUMS) and centralised all support and administration operations in the purpose designed Perth, Hazelmere facility
• 2009 - Commenced operations in Egypt at the Sukari Gold Mine.

Today, Barminco is recognised as one of the leading underground mining service specialists globally, delivering the most efficient and cost effective results to its many clients and backed by an exceptional performance record in safety and service excellence.
