In cooperation with our clients, we engage with the communities we operate within and our people to actively manage the lifecycle of the mine assets we operate. This is reflected in the design of the environments we create and in the commitment of our people to manage them effectively.
In 2010, Barminco entered into a three-year cooperation with the Clontarf Foundation, an organisation established in Australia to help improve the health, education, life skills and employment of Australia’s male indigenous youth. Barminco contributes funding and arranges site-based employment workshops.
Our philosophy is well integrated into our operations and at all levels of our business. Our KPI’s, reward and recognition practices for our staff are aligned to our commitment as socially responsible miners.
