Paul Muller
Chief Executive Officer

Qualifications
Paul holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng), Civil Engineering with Honours from the University of Western Australia

Experience
Paul has nearly 20 years’ experience in mining operations, including a mix of large and smaller operations, coal and hard rock mining; Paul has built an unquestionable technical skill set around mining operations.

Before joining Barminco, Paul held the position of Executive General Manager - Asia & Africa for Thiess, Paul has developed and demonstrated his capacity as a transformational senior mining executive and business leader over the past decade.

Paul has also worked as the Managing Director for Consolidated Minerals, General Manager for BHP Billiton Iron Ore, Business Unit General Manager for Leighton Contractors and the General Manager Mining for Leighton Contractors in Indonesia.

Paul has delivered strategic and operational transformation in each of his last three roles, restructuring leadership teams, establishing clarity around purpose, strategy and the operating model, instilling operational and managerial discipline and delivering major productivity and cost improvements.

Victor Rajasooriar

Victor Rajasooriar
Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications
Victor holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) from the WA School of Mines, holds a West Australian First Class Mine Managers Certificate and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and AusIMM.

Experience
Victor Rajasooriar has almost 20 years' experience in the mining sector. Prior to joining Barminco he was the managing director of formerly ASX-listed company, Breakaway Resources until completion of the company's recommended takeover by Minotaur Exploration Ltd.

He previously held operational management positions for mine owners such as Bass Metals, Gold Fields, Grange Resources, Newmont and Eltin Contracting. He has extensive experience in hard rock underground mining in Australia and North America.  

Peter Bryant

Peter Bryant
Chief Financial Officer

Qualifications
Peter holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting and has completed the Professional Year Program and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Experience
Peter has over 27 years’ of financial and company secretarial experience in the Australian, the UK and the US markets.

He has held leadership roles in a number of companies including ASX 100 company Seven West Media Ltd and engineering and development group, GRD Limited (acquired by AMEC Australia Finance Company Pty Ltd in 2009).

Prior to joining Barminco, Peter was the Group Company Secretary and CFO (WA) at Seven West Media following the merger of The West Australian Newspaper Group (WAN) and the Seven Media Group in 2011. Prior to the formation of Seven West Media he was the CFO and Company Secretary of WAN where he was the executive lead on the negotiation and implementation of WAN’s acquisition of Seven Media through a billion dollar capital raising. 

Matthew Lloyd

Matthew Lloyd
Executive General Manager ‑ Safety, People & Innovation

Qualifications
Matthew has a strong background in functional executive leadership. Over the past 10 years, he has continued to broaden his learning to include extensive leadership and organisational development capabilities.

Experience
Matthew has 25 years' experience in construction, mining and engineering industries. He has worked as an executive manager in both safety and health and broader general management roles within international organisations. His roles have given him detailed experience in all facets of commercial, mining and civil infrastructure projects. Matthew has significant experience in managing organisational change and led many cultural alignment programs.

Matthew has led and developed teams of direct and indirect reports across several functions in raising the performance capability of organisations.
