Barminco have been pro-active in developing and improving safety, health and environment policies, training and associated procedures.

In order to be competitive and to improve productivity and standards, Barminco has recognised the need to have an integrated management system in place. To ensure our system meets these requirements, Barminco have gained compliance to AS/NZS ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems and are now in the process of gaining compliance to AS 4801-2000, Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. We are also, in the future, looking to gain compliance with AS/NZS ISO 14001:1996 – Environmental Management Systems.

Employees are continually being assessed and all requirements, processes and documentation are reviewed to ensure all personnel receive the training necessary to complete their job safely and without being exposed to unnecessary hazards. Barminco has entered into a partnership with a Registered Training Organisation and is now working toward providing all training to the National Standards.
